JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced and creative video operator to join our team during our North American tour. As a video operator, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and operating video systems at each event. You will work closely with the technical and creative teams to ensure a seamless and captivating visual experience for the audience.

RESPONSABILITIES
  • Install, configure, and operate video systems at each event on the tour.
  • Collaborate with technical and creative directors to adapt video elements to the artistic vision of the show.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of video content, projections, and visual elements throughout the production.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to video during rehearsals and performances.
  • Manage projection setups, cameras, and video screens, ensuring their proper functioning.
  • Work with local and production teams to ensure a quick and efficient installation of video equipment.
  • Adhere to safety standards related to video equipment and ensure the security of the installation at each venue.
PRINCIPAL TASKS

• Installation and setup of video equipment before each show.

• Programming and management of video systems to broadcast or project created content during the event.

• Continuous monitoring of video installations during rehearsals and performances to ensure proper operation.

• Quick troubleshooting of video technical issues and real-time system adjustments if necessary.

• Maintenance and repair of video equipment throughout the tour.

• Coordination with technical teams for efficient installation and smooth execution of the shows.

• Handling unexpected technical video issues during the tour while meeting deadlines and production requirements.

QUALITIES REQUIRED
  • Significant experience as a video operator in live productions or large-scale events.
  • Proficiency in video management software and systems (Notch, Resolume, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of video equipment and the ability to quickly troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and the ability to understand and execute creative requirements for high-quality visual performances.
  • Ability to work under pressure and efficiently handle unexpected situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with international teams.
  • Adaptability to work in various environments and venues throughout the tour.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
