JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lighting Operator to join our team for our North American tour. As a Lighting Operator, you will be responsible for the installation, adjustment, and operation of lighting systems to create spectacular visual atmospheres for each performance. You will work closely with the technical and creative teams to ensure flawless lighting and an immersive experience for the audience.

RESPONSABILITIES
  • Install, program, and operate lighting systems during events.
  • Collaborate with technical and creative directors to implement the artistic vision for lighting.
  • Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of lighting equipment throughout the tour.
  • Adjust lighting settings based on the specific requirements of each performance and venue.
  • Quickly resolve lighting technical issues in real-time during rehearsals and shows.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that the lighting fully supports the visual and artistic goals of the event.
  • Ensure the safety of lighting installations and adhere to safety standards a teach venue.
PRINCIPAL TASKS

• Install and configure lighting equipment before each show.

• Program and operate lighting systems according to the show’s needs.

• Continuously monitor lighting installations during rehearsals and performances to ensure flawless execution.

• Adjust lighting settings in real-time to adapt to changes during the show.

• Maintain and repair lighting equipment during the tour.

• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure a quick and efficient setup.

• Handle unforeseen technical and creative issues during the tour while meetingproduction deadlines and requirements.

QUALITIES REQUIRED
  • Solid experience as a lighting operator in live productions or large-scale events.
  • Proficiency with lighting control software and systems (GrandMA, etc.).
  • Excellent knowledge of lighting equipment and the ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong aesthetic sense and ability to understand and execute creative lighting needs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage unforeseen situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different work environments.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
