JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented and experiencedLighting Operator to join our team for our international tour. As a LightingOperator, you will be responsible for the installation, adjustment, and operation of lighting systems for each performance. You will work closely with the technical and creative teams to ensure flawless lighting, providing a stunning and immersive visual experience for every show.

RESPONSABILITIES
  • Install, program, and operate lighting systems for each event across the world.
  • Collaborate with technical and creative directors to integrate the artistic vision of lighting while considering the logistical constraints of different venues.
  • Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of lighting equipment throughout the international tour.
  • Adjust lighting settings based on the specific needs of each performance and venue.
  • Quickly and effectively troubleshoot lighting issues during rehearsals and performances.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth coordination and perfect lighting during each event.
  • Adhere to lighting safety standards and ensure safety at each venue.
PRINCIPAL TASKS

• Install and configure lighting equipment before each show.

• Program and manage lighting systems to meet the visual needs of the performance.

• Continuously monitor lighting installations during rehearsals and performances to ensure flawless execution.

• Adjust lighting in real-time to meet changes in the event and creative requests.

• Maintain and repair lighting equipment during the international tour.

• Coordinate with local and international teams to ensure quick and efficient setup.

• Handle unforeseen technical or creative issues during the tour while meeting production requirements and tight deadlines.

QUALITIES REQUIRED
  • Significant experience as a lighting operator in international productions or large-scale live events.
  • Proficiency with lighting control software and systems (GrandMA, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of lighting equipment and ability to quickly troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong aesthetic sense and ability to understand and execute creative needs for optimal lighting.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and manage unexpected situations on-site.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaboration an international scale.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in different environments and venues.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
